  • Austria: Centre for Social and Integration Projects (CeSIP)

    Until CeSIP was set up in 2010, there were no immigrant-run academic organisations working on the issue of integration in Austria. Having studied the issues of integration, migration and anti-racism and carried out some projects in this area, a few young, highly-educated academics, born in Austria to (primarily Turkish) immigrant parents, decided to formalise our work through the CeSIP organisation.

  • Belgium: Federation of Active Associations of Belgium (Fedactio)

    25 Associations based in Belgium founded Fedactio in May 2010 as an umbrella organisation. It brought professional associations, businesses, education centres and school communities together in order to create synergies and share knowledge. All of the associations were Flemish or Walloon Belgians with a Turkish background.
