The 2025 edition of the SIRIUS Annual Policy Conference took place at the European Parliament in Brussels, with the participation of stakeholders from EU institutions, ministries, academia, schools, and civil society.
The main focus of the conference was the launch of the SIRIUS Watch 2025 report, introducing the first-ever Migrant Education Policy Index. This tool offers a comparative overview of inclusive education policies across 15 EU countries, structured around seven key dimensions such as access, teacher preparedness, multilingualism, and student participation.
The conference also explored broader findings from the SIRIUS 3.0 project, including insights from national pilots and peer learning activities. A multi-stakeholder panel addressed good practices in whole-school approaches, intercultural competence development, and policy monitoring.
Through dialogue and exchange, the event strengthened SIRIUS’s role in shaping inclusive, equity-driven education agendas in Europe.
